Kittanning, Pennsylvania based rock outfit A Common Crown have been pretty busy as of late, dropping their new single “Awake” and album The Reckoning . Their rise in the Pittsburgh scene has been somewhat of a slow burner, having really branched out within the last year and establishing themselves as a force to be reckoned with (no pun intended). Having already started with top notch musicians; they have found their sound, their groove and they are ready to take on the world, starting with Pittsburgh.
Hard hitting, head banging, straight forward Heavy Metal is the mission of Corners of Sanctuary - nothing less will do. Old School is back with a vengeance.... Metal has returned – COSnROLL!
It's hard to tell whether Frank Vieira found country music, or whether country found him, but there's no denying it's a perfect fit. You can hear the passion in his voice and see it in his face when he performs, from the heartfelt, "I’m Right Here", to the everyman anthem, "Fill it Up." Frank's sophomore EP set to release in June reflects an impressive maturity as a songwriter and performer.

Jay (piano and vocals), Leland Shaw (cello), Adam Mor (guitar) and Jec Skalyo
Formed in 2014, Nathan and Leland set out to create a more dynamic, catchy feel,
without the traditional guitar/bass ensemble. After six months of songwriting, the
guys went on to add hip-hop driven beats. Add to that Nathan's rhythmic piano
skills and rock-inspired vocals, along with Leland's classically trained cello
experience, and their music developed into an indie gare.
Looking to expand their sound, they brought on Jec as the new drummer in the
summer of 2015 and Adam Mor joined the band in 2018 as the lead guitarist.
Current lineup consists of Nathan Jay, Leland Shaw, Adam Seymour, and Patrick
Some post punk, new wave, groove trip for ya. We'll take you for a ride with every different song. Powerful, fun, eerie, sexy and cute, The Shadow Event is fronted by Christina Santavicca. She creeps and crawls and is in your face with her stage prescence, vocals and keys. Sick guitar work ambushes on in with the makings from Mark DiBello. Followed by the backline, Dave Burek has tasty bass lines and Mike Matjasko bringing in flavorful drums. Originating in the summer of 2016, The Shadow Event is still evolving, but the sound so far will be sure to entice your musical realm. A flavor for all.
Bill Martin and Monique Canniere. The freshmen effort of the band is a journey into many distinct genres of music. To these songwriters, the music is more than the sum of its parts, and this first record from the band is a testament to that fact. With the musings and stylings of world music, the energy of rock music, the sensibility of jazz and the virtuosity of classical music, the band has crafted a novel sound that is difficult to distill into one genre. Even though the band has only two primary songwriters and core members, this record showcases the talents of several outside musical forces. So dig into this feast of guitars, violins, trumpets and angelic voices for a truly captivating sonic serenade.
